The Scientific Committee is finalizing the conference programme. The high number of submissions resulted in some delay with respect to the dates announced. We are sorry for the inconvenience. The final conference program and schedule will be announced soon.

Acceptance of Full Paper and Registration Policy: Today we started communicating the acceptance of full papers. The publication of a paper in the Red Book comes with the registration of at least one of the co-authors (one registration per published paper policy) before February 28, 2014 (hard deadline). Register here (Should “Bank Transfer” be selected as the preferred payment method, please allow for 5 working days to make sure that the bank transfer is processed in due time).

IMPORTANT: once clicked on “book online” and selected your preferred payment method (i.e. Credit Card or Bank transfer), make sure you fill in the field "VAT n/Italian fiscal code number” on the online form (type in your social security no., Passport no., or the string 00000). The registration will not be processed with a blank field.
Jan 6, 2014: 10 participants from Algeria, China, India, Republic of Tajikistan, Russia, Siria and Tunisia have been awarded with the Conference Attendance Award.
Nov 22, 2013:More than 100 full papers were received for possible publication in the Conference Red Book, and are currently under peer review. We are planning on contacting authors with a decision based on Reviewers' assessments by the beginning of December 2013.
Reviewers are thankfully acknowledged for their collaboration, given the large number of submissions we received, their help is fundamental to keep the quality of the Red Book at the highest possible level.
Oct 30, 2013:More than 130 abstracts were received for contributions to the Red Book. Full paper are due by November 1st, 2013. The number of the abstracts that were received so far anticipated a great success for the Red Book, the Conference and the Visionary Paper.
Oct 19, 2013: The conference will be co-organised by the European Geosciences Union that will offer a limited funding for conference attendance awards.
Sept 19, 2013: A limited number of Conference Attendance Awards for the Bologna IAHS 2014 conference are available.
Sept 16, 2013: Invited speakers at the Bologna IAHS 2014 conference.
Sept 2nd, 2013: Daniel Peter Loucks will deliver a distinguished lecture (The Peter Loucks Lecture) at the Bologna IAHS 2014 conference.
July 6, 2013: The conference will host a discussion on scientific publishing and scientific evaluation. Details will be defined later.
